The following newspaper piece was
written by Short Heath Junior School students Rebecca Evans and Amy Dudwell:
Mike strikes again
When Mike Perry came to Short Heath Junior
School we thought that he would be boring like most writers are but we was quite surprised
instead of a old man with a suit on Mike was young and wearing jeans with a shirt and
timberland boots!!!!!
Then he told where he lives which is
Wisconsin in America, his old occupations are 1.nurse 2.cowboy 3.a hunter when he was nine
years old.
His present occupations are 1.fireman
2.ambulance driver 3.writer.
Next he told us about the life he lived;
it was more like an adventure then he just wrote them up into articles. Some of these are
shown below
1.He went on a Monster truck and when they
went over a hill they went into mid air at the bottom of the truck is bullet-proof glass
so that when they go into air they can see where to steer.
2.He had to go racing somewhere and while
he was going quite fast he went into a bridge.
3.He had to go with some truckers from
Alaska all across America to see what life on the road was like he was quite surprised
because in the back of the truck was beds, cookers etc.
4.Mike had to go into a prison and
interview people to see what prison is like he was very scared because he had to interview
murders.
These are just some of his articles, he
has also wrote some books called Don’t stand behind a sneezing cow and how to
hypnotise a chicken.
He also told us about once when he went
out with his girlfriend on a snowmobile and he was just driving along and about half a
mile down the road he noticed that his girlfriend had fell of the back.
As you can probably tell Mike is a humour’s
person.
